Scott Swayze

Scott Swayze is the Chief Executive Officer for LaunchPad Home Group, responsible for the strategic direction, vision, growth and performance of our growing portfolio of companies. 

A seasoned executive with 20 years of experience across the home inspection and home services industry. Scott is known for achieving exponential growth, maximizing operational excellence and exceeding financial targets. His collaborative approach to leadership has enabled Scott to generate rapid performance across all business segments, resulting in significant value creation for shareholders.

Scott most recently served as the CEO for Max Home Inspections, where he worked with the founding partners to drive expansion and lead operations. These efforts resulted in a partnership with RFE Investments, a private equity group based out of Connecticut. This relationship was the catalyst for what LaunchPad is today. Prior to joining Max Scott was the founder and CEO of Insight Inspections located in Austin TX. Under Scott’s leadership Insight grew into one of the premier Inspection providers in Texas, which led to a lucrative exit in 2019. Before Insight Scott was the Executive Director at Moore Construction leading both the commercial and residential services divisions. Scott was responsible for managing complex projects and driving multiple revenue streams that increased revenue 10X over a 5-year period. 

When he’s not shaking things up in the world of home inspections, Scott can be found spending time with his wife Stephanie and his son Connor. His hobbies include snowboarding, spending time on the lake and losing golf balls on local courses.

Brent is responsible for all financial & accounting functions within Launchpad, including treasury, financial reporting & audit, analysis & budgeting, acquisition diligence & financial integration, and corporate insurance programs.  Brent brings over 19 years of experience and has held leadership positions in the oil & gas, restaurant, and moving & storage industries.  Prior to joining LaunchPad, Brent was the CFO for Apple Moving, a private, multi-state, independent moving company with over 20 operating locations.  At Apple Moving, Brent led the IT, HR, Claims, and accounting teams and strategic real estate transactions.  Previously, Brent was the Controller & Chief Accounting Officer at Hat Creek Burger Company, a fast-casual restaurant concept born in Austin, TX and the Director of Finance & Accounting at Pinnergy, a private, multi-state oil & gas services company.  

Brent graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of West Georgia where he played on the baseball team and was a double major in Accounting & Finance.  He is a Certified Public Accountant and began his career with KPMG in the Austin and Denver offices.  Brent has been married to Becca for 15 years.  They have 2 children, live in Austin, TX, and enjoy family road trips, camping, and paddleboarding in waters around Austin.  

Fun fact: Brent professes to be a lay expert on the subject of brown bears.  Disclaimer, this fact has not been officially checked.

With a strong strategic grounding and entrepreneurial spirit, Diana is passionate about developing people, building teams, and creating a winning culture.  Diana has 25 plus years as an HR and operational leader in multiple industries including highway maintenance & infrastructure, cyber security, mining, environmental liquid waste, oil & energy, construction, telecommunications, manufacturing, aviation, food & facilities management services, staffing, security, and government contracting. 

Diana has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Wisconsin, completed an executive development program from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and is a member of the Forbes HR Council, advising other HR leaders.

Richard J. Ramirez is an experienced Vice President with over 20 years of expertise in driving technology and marketing initiatives within the home services industry. He possesses a unique ability to effectively balance the strategic vision with the operational details, resulting in seamless integrations and exceptional outcomes. As a leader, Mr. Ramirez has a demonstrated track record of delivering innovative and impactful results. He has an in-depth understanding of the home services industry and a strong commitment to helping homeowners achieve their goals. With his exceptional leadership skills and reputation as a trusted partner, Mr. Ramirez has consistently provided solutions that meet the needs of homeowners.

Mr. Ramirez’s career highlights include serving as Vice President of Home Services at Max Home Inspections where he drove the company to 25% year-over-year growth, expanding business lines and entering new markets. As Founder and President of reHOME Repair & Remodel Company, he used an innovative estimation process to boost sales conversions by 30% changing the way homeowners evaluate the bidding process. 

Outside of work, Mr. Ramirez is happily married with four amazing children. He loves playing disc golf with his family and is absolutely horrible at fantasy football.

Shayna Bane

As the Chief Marketing Officer at LaunchPad Home Group, Shayna Bane spearheads the development and execution of marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and position the company for growth. With more than 10 years of experience leading marketing initiatives for omnichannel B2B and B2C companies, Shayna has consistently achieved impressive results by scaling brands authentically and thinking outside the box. Her experience spans industries ranging from Manufacturing to Outdoor to Non-Profit to Food + Beverage and beyond.


Prior to joining LaunchPad, Shayna served as the CMO for Summer Moon Coffee, where she played a key role in driving significant COVID-era growth. Shayna established company-wide processes and departments, fostered a collaborative culture, and leveraged her branding and marketing expertise to transform a family-owned business into a national coffee franchise. Under her leadership, the company expanded from 18 units in one state to 45 nationwide. Shayna holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Marketing and PR from Baldwin-Wallace University in Cleveland, OH. 

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Ryan and senior rescue pup Cholula. Her hobbies include practicing yoga, cooking, traveling, and exploring new restaurants in Austin.

Ross is the Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions at LaunchPad Home Group, where he spearheads the strategic acquisition efforts to expand the company’s portfolio of home services partner companies. With over 8 years of experience, Ross has established himself as a trusted collaborator for small business owners, providing valuable insights on business valuation, financing solutions, and growth initiatives.

Prior to joining LaunchPad, Ross held various positions at BOK Financial, a prominent financial services institution with assets in excess of $60 billion, operating primarily in the southwest US. In these roles, he honed his expertise in the financial industry and gained a deep understanding of the intricacies of business operations.


Ross is a proud alumnus of the University of Denver, where he graduated with a major in finance and double minors in accounting and real estate. His passion for assisting small business owners was cultivated at a young age, having worked alongside his entrepreneurial father from an early stage, initially as a laborer and eventually as a trusted consultant.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Ross enjoys exploring the scenic trails of Lady Bird Lake in Austin, TX, accompanied by his loyal dog, Stinger. He also finds solace on the golf course, where he refines his skills and enjoys the mental and physical challenges of the game.

As LaunchPad’s Chief Business Development Officer, Wade is a key member of our executive leadership team. He specializes in developing and executing business growth strategies, securing new opportunities, increasing revenue streams, and building our market presence.

 

Over the past 20+ years, Wade has managed over 200,000 home inspections while building several real estate service companies throughout the Colorado area. In 2008, Wade founded what would become one of the largest home inspection companies in the United States, Axium Inspections, along with Axium Academy: an industry-respected home inspector school whose graduates have performed over 100,000 inspections to date. Through his direction, Axium grew exponentially, spreading to 25 markets across the country and becoming the first nationwide, independently-owned inspection company.

 

Wade was raised in West Plains, MO and now calls Broomfield, CO home with his wife and daughter. Wade enjoys figuring out the latest technologies, traveling, wineries, and watching the Kansas City Chiefs.

Matt Dutra is the Vice President of Operations with Launchpad Home Group, focusing on executing the strategic vision of the organization in partnership with the executive leadership team. Matt is an accomplished leader with a track record of driving efficiency, optimizing processes, and delivering value. Over the past 15 years in various leadership roles, Matt has consistently demonstrated commitment to excellence and a strong ability to execute. 

Prior to his current role, Matt held various senior leadership positions in highly acquisitive environmental service companies, including hazardous and non-hazardous liquid waste. Matt’s experience has equipped him with a deep understanding of the intricacies and challenges of building a world-class service organization through organic growth and acquisitions.

Matt holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts and is currently in the process of earning an MBA from Boston University. For fun, Matt loves to cook, explore restaurants, and travel with his husband, Nick.
